Yanai Nerunjil / Large Caltrops Dried (raw)

  • Large caltrops are a shrubby, stiff-stemmed plant that grows in India. 
  • The leaves are simple, opposite with a length of 1-4 cm.
  • Long and serrate on the edges with a yellow flower of 1.5-2 cm across which has 2 mm sepals and linear petals fused into a broader tube of up to 3 cm long with 5 extremely sharp spines hidden within the four angled seed capsule that has a length of up to 4 mm.
